Hunter's Vampire Birthday Party

Last weekend we had Hunter's birthday party and we had a blast. I didn't get as many photo's as I would have liked, but enough to give you an idea.

First we ate Bloody Vampire Fingers and Peekza. We had Poison, witches potion, dried crows feet and fire neut Juice to drink. I thought that it would be a good idea to do our little craft project next and it was such a mess, the jury is still out on whether or not it was a good idea. They were Haunted House picture frames. We played a few games, had our incredibly fun treasure hunt (so, so much fun) and then opened gifts. We sang to the birthday boy and let him blow out candles... All in all... a success. Hunter was so excited for his party he was getting in trouble at school for talking out of turn.... I can't believe that he is turning six... Parents kiss those babies all the time, they grow up in a blink of an eye!!!!

Happy Birthday my sweet boy....

Invitations... too cool

Drinks

Food and fun...

I have to toot my own horn coming up with these baby's... I filled the center with cherry filling so it looked like blood when you bit into them. Please note; I know my little man DOES NOT LIKE ANYTHING WITH ANY TYPE OF FILLING... so I made half with and half without. Survey says.... Only one kid ate the one with filling. The others said it looked like real blood and they weren't having anything to do with it! Still way cute though...

My little (almost) 6 year old!!!!!

Britney, Matthew, Hunter and Merrisa. Love, love, LOVE these kiddies...

Daniel, Gabriel, Britney and Matthew

My beautiful friend Kelly and her precious kiddos "Sissy" (Paizley) and Colton...

Balloon stomp!

Ready for gifts.

Cake Please...

I know he looks a little like a drag queen here but his Vampire makeup was all but gone, only the makeup around his eyes was left. Sorry baby...

A special visit from Santa

Hunter must have been extra good this year because he had a very special visitor come to his house! Yes folks, Santa came to our home and Hunter just couldn't believe it! They talked about what Hunter wanted for Christmas and how Santa remembered seeing him on the Polar Express. The only thing that Hunter was concerned about was where was his reindeer? Santa assured him that they were being fed and taken care of at the Hogle Zoo while he was making his very special visits. Then they spent a minute discussing why we celebrate Christmas, and my sweet little boy answered before Santa could even finish asking the question. "Because it is Jesus' Birthday"! Santa gave Hunter a candy cane and sang jingle bells with us and then made his way back to his reindeer and then back to the Pole to finish getting ready for Christmas! A very warm and heartfelt thank you to Santa for dropping by, and giving Hunter a reason not to sleep that night, and me yet another magical memory... THANK YOU!

Goodbye Santa!

Be still my heart!

Yes I am in love....

Hooray for Christmas school pictures! They are just unbelievable.

Big brother's visit

Hello!!! Can someone look at the girl with the camera??? Thanks Manda :)

Okay, so not a great picture, but proof that the family got together for my brother Patrick's visit. I was so glad to see him and we had a lovely dinner. Although no one was more excited than Hunter to have dinner with uncle Pat. Hunter hogged him the entire time. I believe Pat is Hunter's new favorite person ever! And how cool is it that they have the same gloves? Thanks for being such a cool uncle Pat, we love and miss you!

Choo Choo... It's the Polar Express!

I have a few pictures to go along with this post, so I will keep it short.

Helen, Phil and I took Hunter to the Polar Express in Heber City. Hunter was so excited to get the Christmas season kicked off with a train ride to the North Pole. We had hot cocoa and a cookie. We listened to Christmas riddles and jokes, and sang lots of Christmas carols. It was absolutely magical for Hunter, I will never forget how excited he was. You haven't witnessed magic until you have seen Christmas through the eyes of a child. Simply the most wonderful moments! I hope your Christmas Season is filled with a million innocent moments of magic!!!
