Yay... Baby Olivia is in town!!!

Baby Olivia was in town and we all took a trip to the aquarium to celebrate. Hunter was beside himself waiting to see her. We had the best time looking at all the different fish, animals and wow the new penguin exhibit was so amazing, defiantly worth checking out. After the aquarium we went to dinner and by the end of the night both Hunter and Olivia had enough fun. Hunter was asleep before I got through the first few pages of the book.

Easter 2010

Easter was once again put on fast forward. Hunter was with his daddy this weekend so he didn't get home until noon. So as soon as he walked through the door he started spying his eggs. As fast as i could I grabbed my camera and he was off. The Easter bunny underestimated Hunter as far as the hiding places go. Needless to say Hunter found all twelve eggs faster than I could snap pictures. After the eggs were found he started searching for his Easter basket. That search proved to be a little more difficult. He found the hiding spot but only saw a bat and ball and said "well, I can only find this bat" after looking a little harder I hear "JACKPOT" and did he ever hit the jackpot... Spoiled but not Rotten :)
After he went through his basket and discovered that he got a DS and games he was on cloud nine, because after all, he has wanted a DS for his whole life....
Once the rush of Easter stuff, I had to drag him off to the store for a few things that I forgot. We were going to Phil and Helen's for Easter dinner and I was asked to make my pasta salad and Famous Yams (Yummmmmo).
I called Arjay and had her an Baby Tatum come over too. We had a wonderful dinner and it was so nice to visit with Arjay and see my cute little Tater Tot... Helen and Phil... we love you it was such a fun day. Thank you, thank you!!!!

Day Care Easter Party

Hunter's daycare provider sent these pictures to me.

She had a little egg hunt for all the kids, and then she painted their faces. Again, Hunter picked something totally off the wall , a clown, but he absolutely loved it. He had to have it on all night and DID NOT want me to wash it off in the bath. I won... but now I have to find some good face paints, one of the many times, I am sure, that bribery will back fire on me. He doesn't forget a thing!

Coloring Easter Eggs

This was a big day!!! Hunter had been asking for a month to color eggs so he was ecstatic when the night finally came! It's hard to believe how fast he is growing up. This year I let him do just about everything by himself. He got to put the eggs in the water, (I took them out of course) put the tablets into the water, put the eggs into the coloring and take them out. All he let me do was take pictures. Oh yea, and pour the vinegar in cause that stinks!!!

My funny little boy... We got Hunter's swim gear for the summer and he thought he was something else! He spent all night in his swim suit. I just love him...

Living Room Camp Out

Ahhh.... Spring in Utah.

It's snows in the morning and by the afternoon we're out mowing the lawn??? Spring fever has not been very fun this year. We we're teased with warm weather for awhile but on the weekends Hunter is home, it snows. So how do you cure a 5 year old of "I need to get out of the house and play"? Well, we went for a nature walk and collected all kinds of rocks, leaves and pine cones. But alas, it got too wet and cold so we had to go back home. But we pitched Hunter's tents and filled them with blankets and pillows and watched a movie, played with all kinds of toy's, ate lunch and he took his nap in them. Not as fun as being outside but it kept a smile on his face all day...
