I'm turning 6! and we had family pictures...

Hunter and I took a trip to Kiddie Kandids to get family pictures. I can't believe that my baby is turning 6. Hunter was his typical poser self and the pictures turned out great! Hunter had a minor melt down during the selection process, but we took a ride on the carousel and visited Santa so all is right with the world again.

He has a new fascination with cowboys... but only because they have guns and whips!

Please excuse this horrid picture of Mom, but Hunter just looks fantastic.

Hunter LOVES hats!

I just love this picture. Hunters feet are almost as big as mine.

What a cute couple.

Two Peas in a Pod

The gals at work and myself threw one of our friends a baby shower, to celebrate the impending arrival of her "twin boys" Zachary and Caleb. I was so excited to throw this shower because of the "twin" factor. We went a lot crazy for this one, but I don't know a more deserving mom to be. We all love Stephanie, and we're thrilled for her and her husband Jake.

Halloween 2010

Halloween started off great, and then slowly worked it's way into a frenzy... But we survived and had a great time with our tricks and treats.. I can't believe it, and I didn't even realize it until I was loading these pictures, but I didn't take any pictures of the party we had. It was a lot of fun for the little ones. We played games and had homemade treats and tons of hot yummy appetizers, and of course hot chocolate and hot apple cider. Perfect for thawing out all of us frozen trick-or-treaters. Yeas folks, it rained and rained and was freezing cold.

I started off by making Halloween pancakes, complete with colored milk.

Then Hunter got his Halloween surprise from Mommy.

After an hour and half trip to the grocery store for milk, dry ice, root beer, and 4 balloons, we finally got home, put on our costumes and headed to the cousins for Halloween fun.

The kiddo's ready to score some candy: Back row Left to Right: Scarecrow (Merrisa), Grim Reaper (Trevor) Front row Left to Right: Vampire (Hunter) Harry Potter (Tanner)

Their silly pose...

Hunter's silly pose redo

The scariest part of the entire night. I thought my poor little man was going to have a heart attack when he first saw this guy pop out from the garage with a chainsaw. He screamed all the way down the driveway, twice. But my brave little vampire sucked it up for a closer look and that "scary dude" brought him some candy.

His trick-or-treat bucket was completely full. :)

My Halloween Project

My sweet niece Merrisa told me tht she was going to be a Scarecrow for Halloween, and I decided that she needed a Trick-or-Treat bag to go with it. This is what I came up with. I surprised her with it right before we left to go Trick-or-Treating.

She loved it!
