Pumpkin Day!

Hunter had Pumpkin Day at school Wednesday. we got to go to the pumpkin patch, pick out a pumpkin, and head back to class for a fun day of pumpkin activities.

We had so much fun. Mrs. Drake is the best Kindergarten teacher ever!

Hunter's Kindergarten class

Hunter and his pumpkin

1st we wash off the pumpkin

Then we begin our activities... Pumpkin patterns

How big around is Mrs. Drakes Teddy Bear Pumpkin? Hunter was the first to guess "Just right ;)

Time to decorate....

"I've got to make sure everyone knows which one is mine"
Any guess on what Hunter decorated his pumpkin as?

A vampire of course ;)

Mr. drake brought in pumpkin sugar cookies for the class to decorate! This is Hunter and on of our favorite classmates Jacob.

Hunter crashing story time! He loves to read and listen to stories and didn't pass up the opportunity to listen in on one of his classmates and her Mom reading a Halloween story.

Ahhhh... Now that they are gone I can't get comfortable in Mrs. Drake's reading chair and settle in with a good book!

Hunter was wiped out by the end of the day, he just wanted to get into his Jammie's and listen to his read along story books. What a great day!

Wedding Blooms

My friend Michelle got married last week and I had the honor of doing her wedding flowers. She looked great and the day was perfect.... and the flowers held up for the entire event! Pheewww! Congratulations Michelle and Troy! Here are a few photo's I was able to get.

Day Care Halloween Party

Today was the Halloween party for Hunter's Day Care. He was so excited about finally getting to dress up in his costume and have the full face paint job done, I thought he was going to cry! Well, actually he did cry. I got his face painted and took him outside to spray his hair black and when I started to spray he instinctively covered his face! My red "lick stick" was all over his face. I had to redo it all... But it look just as good a second time. Happy boy and yea... late for work!

Wheeler Farm

What did we do for $10.50?

We had a whole day of fun on the farm.... We had an amazing day at Wheeler Farm last Saturday. 41/2 hours on 10 dollars and 50 cents.

$7.00 for the corn maze, pumpkin patch, and tractor ride.
$3.00 for the pony ride
$0.50 for the bag of duck feed.
***Parents are free if you have a paying child, and the kiddies get to pick a pumpkin to take home from the pumpkin patch***

If you are looking for a fun, inexpensive activity for the family this is the place. Pack a picnic lunch, and a blanket if the weather is good and head out to the farm...

Look who we waited in line with...Wella Witch

I'm so cool!

But I have A.D.D... Ooh Squirrel

Hunter loved this horse! She was so pretty...

It's always a good day when you are greeted by a vampire.

You never know what's lurking in the corners of a corn maze... What a cute little spook I found hiding!

Takin' a break

Mommy... are you coming or what?

Welcome to the pumpkin patch.

Hunter's favorite part of the day... Feeding the ducks.
