How do I spring clean with a little one who wants my attention all the time??? We build a "front room fort". I was able to get all my laundry done including all bedding, and I was able to clean out cupboards, drawers, and (my favorite) a good scrub with bleach over almost every hard surface. Hooray for the fort. The Bat Cave, Stuffed animals, and the DS have all taken up residency in the fort, but it kept Hunter entertained most of the day. And although everything is clean, I STILL have "THE FORT" in my living room, Ugg! I am still trying to come up with an alternative that Hunter will buy into so we can take it down, but until then I'll just enjoy his smiles.
Thankful for:
Happy Child,
Clean Home
Simplicity,
and Front Room Forts
Oh, and we also went to the Kids Fair on Saturday where Hunter got his face painted like Spiderman. I'll post that later....

BREAKING NEWS!!!
Breaking news everyone.... Hunter lost his first baby tooth last night eating dinner. He came running up to me screeching. "I thought that I was biting into something hard in my taco, but it was my TOOTH! I'm so excited Mommy". I saw the blood drooling down his chin and wasn't sure if that would freak him out so I grabbed a cup of cold water and before he could rinse he saw the blood but was okay with it. "Wow that's a lot of blood". After he rinsed all was good and I have one excited little boy. Another milestone for Hunter, and one less piece of "baby" for Mom.
A DINO sized field trip!
Hunter and his class ended their week of Dinosaurs with a field trip to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point.
It was our first trip there and WOW... There was so much to do and see. We spent three hours there. Hunter LOVED everything and each exhibit was better than the next. He loved playing with his class mates and spending a day off with Mommy. We had lunch at the little cafe there, spent some fun time playing with Jacob and Jayson, while Muy and Mom had girlfriend chat time. After we said goodbye to our friends we drug our tired selves to the car and headed home.
I am certain it won't be our last trip there! Thank you LLA for another successful and super fun field trip.

My very first oral report!
Yes folks my KINDERGARTENER had to give his first oral report in school.
The topic was dinosaurs and he chose Triceratops. He did so well. He memorized the facts and got to teach the class for "a really long time".
I am so proud of Hunter and how well he is doing in school. I love you buggy!
Hunter gluing on his pictures after he cut them all out. (and I was folding laundry. Can you see it in the background?)

Sledding with my best friends...
Last weekend Hunter and his best friends Britney and Matthew , spent the afternoon sledding. It was bitter cold but you couldn't tell that by them. They would have stayed out all day if the mean ol parents wouldn't have made them come in. We are so blessed to have such wonderful neighbors. We love you Lence family!

Christmas 2010
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!
Our Christmas was full of laughs, hugs, kisses and LOVE! I hope yours was too. Here are some highlight from our Christmas day. We had an amazing Christmas dinner with the Amburn's, complete with the sweetest blessing from my baby boy. Not only did he bless his family and friends, the food, and of course "Please bless Santa that he made it back to the North Pole okay". But the best part was when he said" and please bless that baby Jesus has the best birthday ever in his whole life." All my Christmas wishes come true!
May you all be blessed in the New Year!
