We mixed things up a little this Christmas Eve. Hunter and I usually spend the day together just the two of us, but this year Helen and Phil invited us over for dinner on the condition that I make my spaghetti for them. We had a wonderful time and Joe made it just in time to eat and Hunter found a new best friend!
We ate dinner and opened up Jammies and to my surprise Grandma Helen bought her boys Jammie's that matched Hunter's. I have to say the boys looked adorable.
As it started getting later, Hunter asked what time it was and when I said it was almost ten, he started panicking. Frantically picking up his belongings, hugging everyone goodbye, and pushing me out the door. He was convinced he was going to miss Santa. On the drive home he saw a red light in the sky, he heard sleigh bells, and he could have sworn he saw eight tiny reindeer???
well we made it home and in plenty of time for Santa. We got out the cookies and milk, put out the magic Santa key, and read "Twas the night before Christmas" before my little Christmas boy drifted off to sleep....
Blessed to have:
